The Girls' Pinafore pattern includes a bonus Pantaloon pattern on the same sheet!
Pattern is versatile enough for play and dress-up.

The plain pinafore is rated "easy," because a beginner could put it together with no trouble. The heirloom pinafore requires some more advanced sewing techniques (French seams, tucks, etc.), but it is still more "intermediate" than "advanced."

Note: The Ladies Romantic Dress Pattern does not include a pattern for the skirt of the dress. During this time period, skirts were rectangles of fabric sewn together, then gathered, pleated, or gauged into the bodice or waistband. Lisette's has provided E-Z instructions on how to make your own skirt pattern, plus determining the amount of yardage needed. In addition, the creator of this pattern has provided her own instructions in the pattern instruction booklet.

The pattern is rated "intermediate" because of the fitting techniques involved, but a patient beginner should be able to navigate the instructions without too much trouble.
