Re-designed teens/ladies wool or Velveteen winter bonnet/cap has more ear and overall coverage! Crown of Ruth has two layers of wool or Velveteen fabric for extra warmth. Also has elastic in the nape of the neck and
the brim completely covers the ears to keep the chill out.
Ruth is designed to be WORN OVER ANOTHER COVERING, whether
that is a stretch knit cap or a close-fitting cap of some
sort. Please keep this in mind when ordering the size below.
Based
upon traditional bonnet styles of the past, 'Ruth' can be
made in wool-blend fabrics (lined with same wool-blend lining
or flannel) with either ribbon or fabric ties, or a black
Velveteen fabric (lined with a silk-like fabric or flannel)
with matching ribbon ties.
(Ruth made in a wool-blend fabric will be
a softer cap than that made in the Velveteen fabric).
In-stock
wool blend color choices are Black, Navy Blue, Grey
and Sage Green. Please specify your fabric choice when ordering.
(Wool-blend fabrics are ordered from an Amish store).
Sizes M-L (23" to 25" head circumference
and 18” brim length) and XL (26" and up and 19”
brim length)
Washing:
It is recommended to only dry clean your wool or Velveteen
covering.
