Ana is made in a solid polyester/cotton or a print cotton calico fabric.
Or, you can send your own fabric for a price of $30.00.

Special features of Ana are:

  • Matching eyelit or lace sewn between bodice neckline and lining, with ribbon threaded through neckline casing. Ribbon ties into a bow at the upper back neckline.
  • Back button bodice
  • Lined bodice
  • Gathered waist
  • Three hem tucks on bottom of dress (remove hem tucks as child grows for additional dress length).
  • Elastic sleeves gathered at the end in two sleeve length options. Ribbon is threaded through casing and ties into a bow.

Boys' Broadfalls

These hand-made broadfalls include a right inside watch pocket and the waistband is reinforced with heavy interfacing for those active boys!

Along with the waistband button, six buttons attach the front fall to the waistband, and two buttons are also sewn to the back waistband for optional tab suspenders.

Made in 'Triple-Tuff' Tri-Blend Denim (a very durable denim), black or navy twill poly/cotton fabric, or black or dark grey Dacron Denim. Back pockets are optional.

Please note: Minimal shrinkage may occur if placing in the dryer after washing. Therefore, I will make your broadfalls slightly larger (approx. ¼") than your specifications, to allow for any shrinkage. If you do not wish for the slightly larger cut, please let me know with your order.

Vintage Style Childrens’ Cape Coat
Cape Coat (with your fabric and lining) - $70.00 + shipping

Coat can be made for either a boy or girl (on a boys’ coat, the buttons are on the right side).

A very classic lined cape coat that has a detachable cape, which is secured to the coat with 7 buttons under the collar. The cape has a coordinating fabric at the end and has 5 fabric covered buttons down the front. Coat has shoulder pads, set-in sleeves, side seam pockets and two pleats in the front and one pleat in the center back.

Coat A & B

For style “A”, cape is made straight across the front, with no graduated point as shown in style “B”. For both styles, the back of the cape gradually forms a point and for a girls’ coat, can be made with a bow.

In stock wool blend fabrics are black, navy blue and a light blue. This cape coat is usually made in a wool blend fabric, with a rayon/acetate lining. For your convenience, I have added at the bottom of this page a link to JoAnn Fabrics, where you can purchase fabric(s) online and ship to me (if you choose) your fabric choices for both coat and lining. (Please e-mail me with the child’s measurements to determine the fabric yardage). I will supply the buttons, shoulder pads, thread and any other small notions used in the construction of the coat.
